How to reach Blue Lagoon
The Blue Lagoon is completely isolated on the car-free island of Comino, making it accessible exclusively via the sea. Daily scheduled passenger ferries and taxi boats depart regularly from Cirkewwa in Malta and Mgarr Harbor in Gozo. Additionally, numerous organized commercial cruise vessels transport large groups directly to the lagoon daily. Once the boat moors at the small concrete jetties, visitors walk straight off onto the rocky paths and paved ledges flanking the water.
Parking
Where to park near Blue Lagoon
Because Comino is a strictly protected nature reserve with no public automobile infrastructure, there are absolutely no car parking facilities available at the Blue Lagoon. Visitors traveling by rental car must park their vehicles at the expansive public maritime parking lots located back at the Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal in Malta or the Mgarr Harbor facilities in Gozo before boarding their chosen boat transfer.
