How to reach Calo Des Mort
Tucked away at the far eastern end of Migjorn bay, reaching Calo Des Mort requires a bit of effort. Drivers should head toward the Maryland resort area and follow the dirt tracks toward the coast. From the closest vehicle clearing, visitors must embark on a scenic walk along the cliff edge and then carefully climb down a steep, rustic set of steps carved directly into the sandstone rock face. The path can be slippery with sand and requires steady footing.
Parking
Where to park near Calo Des Mort
There is no official parking lot for this tiny cove. Visitors typically park in the unpaved dirt clearings near the adjacent larger beaches of Migjorn or along the access roads of nearby hotel resorts. Space is extremely limited near the cliff edge trail. Because the actual sandy area of the cove is incredibly small and disappears entirely at high tide, arriving very early in the morning is essential to secure a spot.
