How to reach Kastro beach

Kastro beach is located at the northernmost point of Skiathos. It can be reached by taking an excursion boat from Skiathos Town or via land. If coming by land, drive up toward the old castle ruins; the final segment is a rough dirt road. From the upper parking lot near the castle entrance, visitors must embark on a steep, demanding 25-minute walk down a winding stone and dirt path down the cliffside to reach the beach.

"Sono rimasto davvero meravigliato da Kastro Beach. Mi aspettavo una spiaggia spettacolare, ma non pensavo di mangiare così bene. Il mare cristallino e il panorama rendono il posto unico, ma il vero punto forte è stato il pranzo: pesce freschissimo, piatti semplici ma ricchi di sapore e ingredienti di ottima qualità. Il tutto accompagnato da un servizio gentile e da un'atmosfera rilassante. Mangiare con una vista così è stata un'esperienza indimenticabile. Se visitate Skiathos, fermatevi qui: non solo per il mare, ma anche per l'ottima cucina. Ci tornerei molto volentieri."
