How to reach Tsigrado
Located right next to Firiplaka on the southern coast, Tsigrado is notorious for its access. Drivers follow a dirt road to the clifftop. To reach the actual beach sand, visitors must slide down a narrow, steep sandy crevice in the rock face, climb down two rustic wooden ladders, and hold onto hanging ropes. This descent is physically demanding and potentially hazardous, making it unsuitable for children, elderly, or anyone with vertigo.
Parking
Where to park near Tsigrado
There is a wide, unpaved dirt plateau at the top of the cliff overlooking the canyon where visitors can park their vehicles free of charge. While finding a parking space on the open clifftop is generally easy, the beach cove below is so exceptionally small that it overcrowds with just a few dozen people, meaning early morning visits are crucial.
